Introduction
Imagine that you work for a consulting company that builds workflows for universities. You notice many of these processes are similar, but require minor customization for each client. You need to dynamically create, package, and deploy the workflows in as efficient a manner as possible.
Azure Logic Apps is a powerful technology for defining workflows. Azure Resource Manager templates are great for deploying resources consistently and repeatedly. In this module, we'll combine both services to show how to configure and deploy logic apps efficiently.
Learning objectives
- Define an Azure Logic Apps workflow declaratively in Workflow Definition Language
- Deploy an Azure Logic App workflow definition as a Resource Manager template using the Azure CLI
- Define a more configurable template using parameters
Prerequisites
- Familiarity with the basics of running and authoring Azure Logic Apps workflows
