Customize the Staff Notebook
A Staff Notebook is included in the general tab on all Staff Teams. View this Staff Notebook clip to learn how this particular OneNote is provisioned. Notice there are three main sections: content, collaboration, and individual members. Although this notebook is designed for K12 usage, it can be easily adapted for Higher Ed.
To tailor the Staff Notebook to one’s needs, consider changing the individual tabs from titles like lesson plans and professional learning to course syllabus, course research, or grant proposals. Any tab in the Individual Members section can be deleted and replaced with those that better fit the purpose. There would still be a content section to deliver important information to the team and a collaboration section for teamwork.
If a Staff Notebook is not needed, select the Anyone Team type. With this team type, educators can simply add a OneNote Notebook to the general channel or any channel where it is needed.
