What is an security engineer?
Security engineers are responsible for protecting organizations and systems against vulnerabilities, security incidents and persistent threats. They perform many functions including developing and implementing secure network solutions, responding to security escalations, completing assessments and penetration testing, managing audits and security technology systems, and architecting secure systems.

Your path to becoming an security engineer
