Azure Policy

Azure Policy helps to enforce organizational standards and assess compliance at-scale. You can bring your resources into compliance through remediation for existing resources and automatic remediation for new resources. Azure Policy includes built-in policy definitions and policy initiatives. You can also create custom policy definitions for your Azure environment.

To find an Azure Policy API version in the table of contents:

  1. Select Policy > Reference > Resource Manager > Overview.
  2. The Version drop-down menu is displayed in table of contents.
  3. The operations for the API version are shown in the REST Operation Groups table and in the table of contents.
  4. Select the operation you want to review.

To change API versions to review a different operation:

  1. Select Policy > Reference > Resource Manager > Overview.
  2. Use the drop-down menu to select a different API version.
