Microsoft Silverlight will reach end of support after October 2021. Learn more.
Called before the DragOver event occurs.
Namespace: System.Windows.Controls
Assembly: System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Protected Overridable Sub OnDragOver ( _
e As DragEventArgs _
)
protected virtual void OnDragOver(
DragEventArgs e
)
Parameters
- e
Type: System.Windows.DragEventArgs
A DragEventArgsthat contains the event data.
Remarks
The OnDragOver method is called before any event handler for the DragOver event is called. This method allows derived classes to handle the DragOver event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
This implementation does not change the handled state (the Handled property) of the DragOver event data.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnDragOver in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnDragOver method so that registered delegates receive the event.
