Microsoft Silverlight will reach end of support after October 2021. Learn more.
Provides handling for the GotFocus event.
Namespace: System.Windows.Controls
Assembly: System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Protected Overrides Sub OnGotFocus ( _
e As RoutedEventArgs _
)
protected override void OnGotFocus(
RoutedEventArgs e
)
Parameters
- e
Type: System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs
The event data.
Remarks
This implementation updates the appearance of the ListBoxItem when it receives focus.
The OnGotFocus method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnGotFocus in a derived class, make sure to call the base class’s OnGotFocus method so that registered delegates receive the event.
