How do I disconnect or reconnect my computer from and to the server?

To disconnect a computer from the server, you must complete the following steps:

Unjoin the computer from the Windows SBS 2011 Essentials domain and join it to the workgroup. For step-by-step instructions for joining Windows 7 to a workgroup, see Join or create a workgroup. For step-by-step instructions to join Windows Vista to a workgroup, see Join or create a workgroup.
Remove the computer from the server using the Dashboard. For step-by-step instructions, see How do I uninstall the Connector Software?.
To reconnect a computer to the server that was previously disconnected from your Windows SBS 2011 Essentials server network, you must complete the following steps:

Ensure that the computer is removed from the Windows SBS 2011 Essentials domain and a joint to a workgroup.
