Modify a Job
Applies To: Windows HPC Server 2008
In HPC Job Manager, you can modify the properties of jobs in the job queue. To modify a job or a task, you must be the submitting user or have administrative rights.
Guidelines for modifying jobs and tasks:
For jobs in the Queued state, all properties can be changed.
For jobs in the Running state, only the following properties can be changed:
Run time (dd:hh:mm)
Run until canceled
Project name
Jobs in the Canceled and Failed states can be modified, and then requeued.
You cannot modify a Finished job. To run a job again, either as-is, or with changes, see Copy a Job or Task.
Tasks can be added to active jobs (in the Configuring, Queued, or Running state).
