get_value method

Retrieves an animated attribute's current value.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.get_value(attributeName, origvalue, currentvalue, newvalue);

Parameters

  • attributeName [in]
    Type: BSTR

    Specifies animated attribute name.

  • origvalue [in]
    Type: VARIANT

    Specifies attribute's original value.

  • currentvalue [in]
    Type: VARIANT

    Specifies attribute's current value.

  • newvalue [out]
    Type: VARIANT

    Pointer to the new value.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
