IPv6 (Compact 2013)

The ipv6 command-line tool queries and configures network interfaces, addresses, caches, and routes. The ipv6 tool has numerous commands, each with its own set of parameters. To view the command syntax, choose the ipv6 command from the list below that is associated with the kind of task you want to perform.

    Sets global parameters for the IPv6 protocol such as source routing, forwarding, and privacy extensions.

    Adds or removes a unicast or anycast address assignment on an interface.

    Adds, removes, or modifies a route in the routing table.

    Renews a DHCPv6 address lease on a specified interface.

    Releases a DHCPv6-assigned address on a specified interface.

    Displays the contents of the neighbor cache.
