This I/O control message returns the version number of the secure digital (SD) bus. Send this message with DeviceIoControl.

Syntax

BOOL DeviceIoControl(
HANDLE hDevice, // handle to device
    DWORD dwIoControlCode, // use IOCTL_SD_BUS_DRIVER_GET_BUS_VERSION
LPVOID lpInBuffer, // pointer to input buffer
DWORD nInBufferSize, // input buffer size
LPVOID lpOutBuffer, // pointer to output buffer
DWORD nOutBufferSize, // output buffer size
LPDWORD lpBytesReturned, // number of bytes returned
OVERLAPPED lpOverlapped // pointer to OVERLAPPED structure
);

Parameters

  • hDevice
The handle to the bus driver.
  • dwIoControlCode
[in] Control code for the operation. Use IOCTL_SD_BUS_DRIVER_GET_BUS_VERSION for this operation.
  • lpInBuffer
[in] Not used; set to NULL.
  • nInBufferSize
[in] Not used; set to zero.
  • lpOutBuffer
[out] Pointer to a DWORD variable that contains the current version number of the bus driver. The upper 16 bits represent the version major. The lower 16 bits represent the version minor.
  • nOutBufferSize
[in] Size of the value pointed to by lpOutBuffer.
  • lpBytesReturned
[out] Pointer to a DWORD variable to return the length of returned data. If there is no error, set to sizeof(DWORD).
