This package is a Feature Pack in the category User Interface\Microsoft Speech API. The name of the package as it appears on disk and for use with some command-line tools is WinEmb-Speech.

This package provides support for speech recognition and text-to-speech in Windows Embedded Standard 7, including the Speech Recognition item in Control Panel and support for the Microsoft Speech API.

The optional package IME Japanese Support provides correct word breaking for Japanese text.
