The following table shows the hardware requirements of the Audio Quality test.

A high-quality sound card for measurement |
For accurate results, the sound card must generate significantly less noise and distortion than the test device. If the loopback results are greater than 10 dB, consider the results the upper-bound of noise distortion. |
Shielded interconnection cables |
Used to connect the test device to the measurement sound card. |
