LVM_GETTOOLTIPS (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This message retrieves the ToolTip control that the list-view control uses to display ToolTips. You can send this message explicitly or use the ListView_GetToolTips macro.

To send this message, call the SendMessage function.

Syntax

lResult = SendMessage( 
   (HWND) hWndControl, 
   (UINT) LVM_GETTOOLTIPS,
   (WPARAM) wParam,     // = 0; not used, must be zero
   (LPARAM) lParam      // = 0; not used, must be zero
);

Parameters

  • wParam
    Must be zero.
  • lParam
    Must be zero.

Return Value

Returns the handle of the ToolTip control.
