This method deletes the specified device context.

Syntax

static WINGDIAPI BOOL WINAPI DeleteDC_I(
  HDC hdc
);

Parameters

  • hdc
    [in] Handle to the device context.

Return Value

Nonzero indicates success.

Zero indicates failure.

To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Remarks

This method is an internal version of the DeleteDC function.

An application must not delete a device context for which the application obtained a handle by calling the GweBypassCoredllThunk_t::GetDC_I method. Instead, the application must call the GweBypassCoredllThunk_t::ReleaseDC_I method to free the device context.
