AllocMem (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

This callback function is provided by the Web Server. ISAPI filters call this function to allocate memory from the process heap to a buffer. The AllocMem name for this function is a placeholder for the function name defined by the header. Any memory allocated with this function will automatically be freed by the Web Server when the session ends.

Syntax

VOID* WINAPI* AllocMem(
  PHTTP_FILTER_CONTEXT pfc,
  DWORD cbSize,
  DWORD dwReserved
);

Parameters

  • pfc
    [in] Pointer to an HTTP_FILTER_CONTEXT structure that is associated with the current, active HTTP transaction.
  • cbSize
    [in] Indicates the size of the buffer to be allocated, in bytes.
  • dwReserved
    [in] Reserved for use by the server.

Return Value

Returns a pointer to the block of memory allocated on success, and returns NULL on failure. To determine the cause of a failure, the filter should call GetLastError.
