Retrieving MSMQQueueInfo.JournalQuota (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

The journal quota is the maximum size, in kilobytes, of the queue journal.

By default the maximum size of the queue journal is INFINITE (as defined by Message Queuing).

Note

If your application does not have MQSEC_GET_QUEUE_PROPERTIES access rights for the queue, an MQ_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED error is returned to MSMQQueueInfo.Refresh.

To retrieve MSMQQueueInfo.JournalQuota

  1. Declare the MSMQQueueInfo variable for the queue.

  2. Obtain an MSMQQueueInfo object.

  3. (Optional) Call MSMQQueueInfo.Refresh if other applications may have changed the journal quota of the queue journal.

  4. Use MSMQQueueInfo.JournalQuota as needed.
