SIM Toolkit Specification Support (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

SIM Toolkit is a standardized specification. The specification was developed by the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) and is available for download from the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute). Search for Specification of the SIM Application Toolkit for the Subscriber Identity Module - Mobile Equipment (SIM-ME) interface (3GPP TS 11.14 version 8.10.0 Release 1999), ETSI TS 101 267 V8.10.0 (2002-03). This specification will be referred to as SIM Toolkit 99 in this documentation.

The following sections and classes of the SIM Toolkit 99 specification are supported.

  • Section 6.4, Proactive SIM commands and procedures, including DISPLAY TEXT in subsection 6.4.1
  • Class B (Run AT Command)
  • Class C (Launch Browser)
  • Class E (Data Channels)

Specification support has been enhanced. The following annexes of the SIM Toolkit 99 specification are supported.

  • Annex G (Icon Support).
