Human Interface Device (HID) Profile Registry Settings (Compact 2013)

You can configure the Human Interface Device (HID) profile by using the registry entries, located in the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Device\hid\< Device Address**>**.

  • 0 = Disables authentication.

Optional. Whether the connection is encrypted.

  • 0 = Disables encryption.
  • 1 = Enables encryption.

Whether the HID is currently active and can accept incoming HID connection requests.

  • 0 = HID is not active.
