FSDMGR_ReadDisk (Compact 2013)

This function is called by a file system driver (FSD) to read sectors from a disk.

Syntax

DWORD FSDMGR_ReadDisk( 
  HDSK hDsk, 
  DWORD dwSector,
  DWORD cSectors, 
  PBYTE pBuffer, 
  DWORD cbBuffer
);

Parameters

  • hDsk
    [in] Handle to the mounted disk. This is the same value that was passed to the FSD_MountDisk function.
  • dwSector
    [in] Starting sector number.
  • cSectors
    [in] Number of sectors to read.
  • pBuffer
    [out] Pointer to a buffer to hold the information that is read.
  • cbBuffer
    [in] Size of the buffer, in bytes.

Return Value

ERROR_SUCCESS indicates success. A standard Windows API error code indicates failure.
