IOCTL_FLASH_PDD_GET_LIFE_CYCLE_INFO (Compact 2013)

This I/O control message retrieves life cycle information for each of the flash regions, such as number of typical erases per block. Send this message with DeviceIoControl.

Parameters
- hDevice
[in] Handle to the device.
- dwIoControlCode
[in] The control code for the operation. Use IOCTL_FLASH_PDD_GET_LIFE_CYCLE_INFO for this operation.
- lpInBuffer
[in] Not used; set to NULL.
- nInBufferSize
[in] Not used; set to zero.
- lpOutBuffer
[out] Array of FLASH_LIFE_CYCLE_INFO structures.
- nOutBufferSize
[in] Set to the size of a FLASH_LIFE_CYCLE_INFO structure multiplied by the RegionCount. The RegionCount can be obtained through IOCTL_FLASH_PDD_GET_REGION_COUNT.
- lpBytesReturned
[in] Not used; set to NULL.
Return Values
Returns nonzero if successful; otherwise, returns zero.
Remarks
To get extended error information, call GetLastError. GetLastError may return other standard error messages as appropriate.
