IOCTL_FLASH_PDD_GET_IDENTITY_INFO (Compact 2013)

This I/O control message retrieves identity information for the flash part, such as the manufacturer ID and serial number. Send this message with DeviceIoControl.

Parameters
- hDevice
[in] Handle to the device.
- dwIoControlCode
[in] The control code for the operation. Use IOCTL_FLASH_PDD_GET_IDENTITY_INFO for this operation.
- lpInBuffer
Not used; set to NULL.
- nInBufferSize
Not used; set to zero.
- lpOutBuffer
[out] Pointer to a FLASH_IDENTITY_INFO structure.
- nOutBufferSize
[in] Set to the size of a FLASH_IDENTITY_INFO structure.
- lpBytesReturned
Not used; set to NULL.
Return Values
Returns nonzero if successful; otherwise, returns zero.
Remarks
To get extended error information, call GetLastError. GetLastError may return other standard error messages as appropriate.
