ICcObjectContainer::FindObject (Compact 2013)

Deprecated.

This method returns the datastore object that matches the name or ID that is passed in.

In Windows Embedded Compact 2013, CoreCon HLAPI has been deprecated.

Syntax

HRESULT FindObject(
  BSTR in_bstrNameOrID,
  ICcObject** out_ppiObject
);

Parameters

  • in_bstrNameOrID
    [in] The ID to find.

  • out_ppiObject
    [out, retval] Pointer to the ICcObject interface object that matches the name.

    If no match exists, this value is NULL.

Return Value

The following table shows the return values for this method.

Parameter

S_OK

Indicates the call was successful.

S_FALSE

Indicates the object was not found.

E_INVALIDARG

Indicates the name parameter was NULL.

E_FAIL

Provides a default return for other errors.

E_OUTOFMEMORY

Indicates the method could not allocate the bstr parameter in_bstrNameOrID.
