Property Value

A Guid object that contains the identifier of the permanent smart card. System.Guid.Empty is returned if the smart card is a permanent smart card.

Remarks

Temporary smart cards can be associated with permanent smart cards when they are issued. For these temporary smart cards, this property contains the identity of the permanent smart card.
