IFPCWebListenerProperties::SSLCertificateAuthentication property

The SSLCertificateAuthentication property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether SSL certificate authentication is used. For more information, see Forefront TMG and Secure Sockets Layer.

This property is read/write.

Property value

Boolean value that indicates whether SSL certificate authentication is used.

Error codes

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).

When this property is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++), SSL certificate authentication is used only for HTTPS clients. If SSL certificate authentication fails, the Web listener can use another method that is enabled. HTTP clients are authenticated only by Basic authentication, Digest authentication, or Integrated authentication.
