IFPCServer3::SetPrimaryDNSSuffix method

The SetPrimaryDNSSuffix method sets the primary DNS suffix of the computer.

Syntax

HRESULT SetPrimaryDNSSuffix(
  [in]  BSTR DNSsuffix,
  [in]  String DNSsuffix
);

  ByVal DNSsuffix As String _
)

Parameters

  • DNSsuffix [in]

    C++

    Required. BSTR that specifies the DNSsuffix of the computer.
    VB

    Required. String that specifies the DNSSuffix of the computer.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
