IFPCIpListRanges::Add method

The Add method creates a new FPCIpListRange object in the collection and returns a reference to it.

Parameters
FromIP [in]
C++ Required. BSTR that specifies the lowest IP address in new the IP address range.
VB Required. String that specifies the lowest IP address of the new IP address range.
ToIP [in]
C++ Required. BSTR that specifies the highest IP address in the new IP address range.
VB Required. String that specifies the highest IP address of the new IP address range.
ExpirationDate [in]
C++ Required. DATE value that specifies the expiration date and time of the new IP list range in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
VB Required. Date value that specifies the expiration date and time of the new IP list range in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
ppNewItem [out]
Address of an interface pointer that on return points to the new IFPCIpListRange interface created.
Return value
C++
This method can return one of the following:
- S_OK, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- An error code, indicating that the operation failed. In this case, the [out] parameter returned is a null object.
VB
This method returns a reference to the FPCIpListRange object created if successful. Otherwise, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
