ModifySystemSettings method of the Msvm_VirtualSystemManagementService class

Modifies virtual system settings.

Syntax

uint32 ModifySystemSettings(
  [in]  string              SystemSettings,
  [out] CIM_ConcreteJob REF Job
);

Parameters

SystemSettings [in]

An embedded instance of CIM_VirtualSystemSettingData that is used to modify the settings of the virtual system. The instance must have a valid InstanceID property value in order to identify the virtual system setting to modify.

Job [out]

A reference to an optional job for the operation if the operation is run asynchronously.

Return value

The possible return values are:

Completed with No Error (0)

Not Supported (1)

Failed (2)

Timeout (3)

Invalid Parameter (4)

Invalid State (5)

Incompatible Parameters (6)
