Cluster.ModifyJob Method
Modifies the specified job.
Namespace: Microsoft.ComputeCluster
Assembly: CcpAPI (in ccpapi.dll)
Usage
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Sub ModifyJob ( _
jobId As Integer, _
job As IJob _
)
public void ModifyJob (
int jobId,
IJob job
)
public:
virtual void ModifyJob (
int jobId,
IJob^ job
) sealed
public final void ModifyJob (
int jobId,
IJob job
)
public final function ModifyJob (
jobId : int,
job : IJob
)
Parameters
- jobId
The job identifier. The Cluster.AddJob method returns this value. If you have a job object that has already been added to the cluster, you can access the Job.Id property to get the identifier.
- job
A class that implements the IJob interface. The class contains the new properties of the job.
Remarks
The Job class implements the IJob interface.
This method overwrites all the properties of the job specified in the jobId parameter with all the properties of the job specified in the job parameter (the method does not update the tasks of the job, only its properties).
If the job is running, you can modify only the Job.Runtime, Job.RunUntilCanceled, and Job.Project job properties. The changes take effect immediately. If the job is a backfill job (see the Job.IsBackfill property), you cannot modify the Runtime property.
To modify single property values, call the Cluster.ModifyJobTerm method.
