IMSVidFilePlayback2::put___SourceFilter method (segment.h)

This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 or later.

The put___SourceFilter method sets the CLSID of a DirectShow source filter to use for this source.

Syntax

HRESULT put___SourceFilter(
  [in] GUID FileName
);

Parameters

[in] FileName

Specifies the CLSID of the source filter.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code Description
S_OK
The method succeeded.

Remarks

If the CLSID is GUID_NULL, the MSVidFilePlaybackDevice object uses the default source filter for the file name given in IMSVidFilePlayback::put_FileName.
