Project.Build Method (array<String )

Builds the specified list of targets in the project.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

  • targetNames
    Type: array<System.String[]

    The list of targets to build. This parameter can be a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) to build the default targets.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the build was successful; otherwise, false.
