ITaskFactory.CreateTask Method

Creates an instance of the task to be used in a batch. The task factory logging host will log messages in the context of the task.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

• taskFactoryLoggingHost
  Type: Microsoft.Build.Framework.IBuildEngine

  The logging host for the task factory.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.Build.Framework.ITask
Returns an instance of the task to be used in a batch.
