Tests the equivalency of a specified data view.

Parameters

  • dataView
    Type: System.Object

    Object instance of the specified data view.

  • provider
    Type: System.Guid

    Unique identifier of a DDEX provider.

  • connectionString
    Type: System.String

    An unencrypted or encrypted string containing connection information.

  • encryptedString
    Type: System.Boolean

    Indicates whether the connectionString parameter is encrypted.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
Returns true if there is equivalency; otherwise returns false.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The dataView and/or connectionString parameter is null.

ArgumentException

The specified provider is not a registered DDEX provider.

Remarks

This member supports the DDEX infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.
