How to: Rename Work Item Queries (Team System Web Access)

You can change the name of work item queries on the Work Items page with Team System Web Access.

Note

Renaming a query does not change the query configuration.

Required Permissions

To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View work items in this node permission set to Allow. To rename a team query, you must be a member of the Project Administrators group. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.

To rename a work item query

  1. In Team System Web Access, click the Work Items page.

  2. Click the arrow next to a query that you want to rename and then click Rename.

  3. In the Query Name box, type the new name for the query.

  4. When you are finished, click OK.
