Add links to images and hotspots
You can add links to images and hotspots by using the vertical tabs to the left of the Layers panel. There are two tabs related to links:
Internal Links Used for creating links inside the Deep Zoom content.
External Links Used for creating links to external websites.
To add an internal link
Click the vertical Internal Links tab to expand it.
Drag an image or hotspot from the Layers panel onto the Internal Links tab, or right-click an image or hotspot and then click Add Internal Link.
In the Direct Link dialog box, click the image or hotspot to which you want to link, and then click OK.
You can test your internal links by clicking the Preview button in the Export workspace, and then, in the Deep Zoom Composer preview window, clicking the images and hotspots to which you added links.
For more information, see Preview in a browser on export.
To add an external link
You can edit or remove external links either by right-clicking an entry on the External Links tab or by clicking Manage External Links on the Tools menu.
Click the vertical External Links tab to expand it.
Drag an image or a hotspot from the Layers panel onto the External Links tab, or right-click an image or a hotspot and then click Add External Link.
In the External Links Management dialog box, click the Add Reporting URL icon .
Under Enter URL information, type the name, URL, and description of the URL to which you want to link. Alternatively, if you have already created links to external URLs in your Deep Zoom Composer project, you can choose a URL from the list under Existing URLs.
You can test your external links by clicking the Preview button in the Export workspace, and then, in the Deep Zoom Composer preview window, clicking the images and hotspots to which you added links.
