Before configuring infrastructure servers in SP1

The following should be done before configuring the Infrastructure servers section of the Forefront UAG DirectAccess Configuration Wizard:

Network Location Server

Configure a network location server. For more information, see Planning the placement of a network location server.

DNS suffixes

Prepare a list of organizational DNS suffixes and the DNS servers that will be used to resolve DNS suffix queries. For more information, see NRPT rules.

Authentication Domains

Prepare a list of domains that contain DirectAccess clients and management servers that require DirectAccess clients to authenticate using Kerberos. For more information, see Planning Active Directory for Forefront UAG DirectAccess SP1.

Management Servers

Prepare a list of the different management servers you need to add in the Management Servers page. For more information, see Planning for remote access and management in Forefront UAG DirectAccess SP1 (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=205661).
