Send and Receive E-Mail with Outlook Web Access
To send and receive e-mail internally
Open Internet Explorer on a client computer, and then type https://MessagingServerName/owa, where MessagingServerName is the name of the Messaging Server.
Log on to Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access by using an internal user account, and then send an e-mail message to another internal user account that you can access.
Open another instance of Internet Explorer on the same or a different client computer, and then type https://MessagingServerName/owa, where MessagingServerName is the name of the Messaging Server.
Log on to Outlook Web Access by using the second account to verify that the e-mail message was received.
To send e-mail to an external address
Open Internet Explorer on a client computer, and then type https://MessagingServerName/owa, where MessagingServerName is the name of the Messaging Server.
Log on to Outlook Web Access by using an internal account, and then send an e-mail message to someone outside of the network.
Verify that the recipient received the e-mail message.
