How to Delete a Package

The following example shows how to delete a package in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 by using the SMS_Package Server WMI Class class.
To delete a package
Set up a connection to the SMS Provider. For more information, see About the SMS Provider in Configuration Manager.
Load the existing package object by using the SMS_Package Server WMI Class class.
Delete the package by using the delete method.

The following example method deletes an existing package.
