PartialMonitoringObjectBase.GetMonitoringEventReader Method (MonitoringEventCriteria, TraversalDepth)

Gets an event reader object that allows you to read all the event objects that are related to this monitoring object and that meet the specified criteria.

Parameters

• criteria
  Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Monitoring.MonitoringEventCriteria

  The criteria that filters the events. Only events that match the criteria are returned. For information about the criteria syntax, seeOperations Manager Data Queries Overview.

• traversalDepth
  Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.TraversalDepth

  A value that specifies the scope of the returned results. A value of OneLevel includes only instances of the specified class in the scope of the returned results. A value of Recursive includes instances of the specified class and all instances that are contained by those instances.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Monitoring.MonitoringEventReader

Returns a MonitoringEventReader object that allows access to the collection of requested events.
