ApplicationClass.GetServerInfo Method

This API supports the SQL Server 2012 infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Returns the SQL Server version number of the SQL Server product installed on the target server.

Parameters

  • bstrMachineName
    Type: System.String
    The name of the server hardware to check for the SQL Server product version.
  • serverVersion
    Type: System.String%
    When this method returns, contains the version number of the SQL Server product. This parameter is passed uninitialized.
