MajorObject.Update Method (UpdateOptions, UpdateMode, XmlaWarningCollection, ImpactDetailCollection, Boolean)
Updates server definition of current object to actual values using specified options to update dependent objects, reports any warnings from operation, and returns affected objects from operation. If analyzeImpactOnly is true, an impact analysis operation is performed with no update operation.

Specifies an UpdateOptions value that determines how to update dependent objects.
- mode
Type: Microsoft.AnalysisServices.UpdateMode
Specifies an UpdateMode value that determines what to do if dependent objects exist.
- warnings
Type: Microsoft.AnalysisServices.XmlaWarningCollection
Specifies an XmlaWarningCollection with all warnings resulting from update operation.
- impactResult
Type: Microsoft.AnalysisServices.ImpactDetailCollection
Specifies an ImpactDetailCollection with all warnings resulting from update operation.
- analyzeImpactOnly
Type: System.Boolean
If true, only the impact analysis is executed, otherwise update operation is executed.
Remarks
If analyzeImpactOnly is true, no update operation is executed, only the impact analysis is done.
