IDTSTask100.Validate Method

This API supports the SQL Server 2012 infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Verifies that the component is properly configured.

Parameters

• pConnections
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Wrapper.IDTSConnections100
  A collection of connections used by the task.

• pVariableDispenser
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Wrapper.IDTSVariableDispenser100
  The object for locking variables.

• pEvents
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Wrapper.IDTSComponentEvents100
  Implements the IDTSComponentEvents100 interface.

• pLog
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Wrapper.IDTSLogging100
  Implements the IDTSLogging100 interface.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Wrapper.DTSExecResult
A value from the DTSExecResult enumeration.
