DtsProperty.ConnectionType Property

Returns the name of the connection manager used to create the connection. This field is read-only.

Property Value

Type: System.String
A String that contains the name of the connection manager used to create the connection. nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if the object is not a connection manager.

Remarks

  • ADO, the connection manager for ActiveX Data Objects (ADO)

  • ADO.NET, the connection manager for ADO.NET
