SecurityMode Property (DistributionDatabase, IntegratedSecurity)
This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.
The SecurityMode property directs the authentication mode used by an instance of Microsoft SQL Server or a connection to a SQL Server database used for replication distribution.

A long integer that specifies a security mode as described in Settings.

Remarks
By default, an instance of SQL Server performs login authentication using either Windows Authentication or SQL Server Authentication at the direction of the connection.
