Chart Title Properties Dialog Box, General

Use the ChartTitle Properties dialog box to define basic properties for the chart title.

Options

Title text
Type a title or expression that will display as the chart title.
Title position
Select the position of the chart title. By default, the chart title will be placed at the top-center of the chart.
Dock to chart area
Select the chart area to which this title is attached. If this option is selected, the chart title will appear on top of the chart area instead of appearing on top of the chart. This option is most useful when there are multiple chart areas.
Show title outside chart area
Select this option to show the title outside the chart area. This option is only available when the title is docked to a chart area. By default, the chart title is shown outside of the chart area to avoid overlap and increase its visibility.
