How to: Add or Remove a Chart Legend (Report Builder 1.0)

By default, a legend is displayed in the chart area. The legend can be removed or added back to the chart.

To add a legend

  1. In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.

  2. Click Chart Options.

  3. On the Legend tab, select the Show legend check box.

  4. Click OK. 

    The legend is displayed in your chart again.

To remove a legend

  1. In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.

  2. Click Chart Options.

  3. On the Legend tab, clear the Show legend check box.

  4. Click OK. 

    The legend is not displayed in your chart.
