Configuration (PowerPivot for SharePoint)
PowerPivot for SharePoint must be configured before it can be used. SQL Server Setup will configure the PowerPivot server components automatically if you chose the New Server installation option. However, if you used the Existing Farm installation option, you must configure the server after SQL Server Setup installs the software. At a minimum, you must perform all three of the required configuration tasks in the list below.
