Gets or sets the parent NotificationClassProtocol object for the protocol retry schedule.

Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Nmo
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo (in microsoft.sqlserver.smo.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Property Parent As NotificationClassProtocol
public NotificationClassProtocol Parent { get; set; }
public:
property NotificationClassProtocol^ Parent {
    NotificationClassProtocol^ get ();
    void set (NotificationClassProtocol^ value);
}
/** @property */
public NotificationClassProtocol get_Parent ()

/** @property */
public void set_Parent (NotificationClassProtocol value)
public function get Parent () : NotificationClassProtocol

public function set Parent (value : NotificationClassProtocol)

Property Value

The parent NotificationClassProtocol object.

Remarks

Each ProtocolRetrySchedule has a parent NotificationClassProtocol. You typically supply the parent object when you create the ProtocolRetrySchedule using the ProtocolRetrySchedule(NotificationClassProtocol,String) constructor.

If you set the parent in the constructor, do not set the parent using this property. Setting the parent twice throws an exception.
