Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Nmo
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo (in microsoft.sqlserver.smo.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Property ApplicationDefinitionFilePath As String
public string ApplicationDefinitionFilePath { get; set; }
public:
property String^ ApplicationDefinitionFilePath {
String^ get ();
void set (String^ value);
}
/** @property */
public String get_ApplicationDefinitionFilePath ()
/** @property */
public void set_ApplicationDefinitionFilePath (String value)
public function get ApplicationDefinitionFilePath () : String
public function set ApplicationDefinitionFilePath (value : String)
Property Value
A String, between 1 and 260 characters in length, specifying the path and name of the ADF.
Remarks
You can define a Notification Services application using an ADF. This property gets or sets the path and name of that file.
If you use the Application(Instance,String) constructor, the default value is an empty string. If you use the default constructor, you must either provide a path and file name or set the value to an empty string.
If the ADF file is in the folder specified by the BaseDirectoryPath value, use only the ADF name, such as StockADF.xml.
If the ADF file is not in the folder specified by BaseDirectoryPath, the ApplicationDefinitionFilePath value can be a relative path from the base directory path, such as ..\..\Datafiles\StockADF.xml, or is a fully qualified path, such as D:\Datafiles\StockADF.xml or \\Server\Share\StockADF.xml.
Example
The following example shows how to set the application definition file (ADF) path:
myApplication.ApplicationDefinitionFilePath = @"C:\NS";
myApplication.ApplicationDefinitionFilePath = "C:\NS"
