DistributorCollection.Disable Method (String)

Disables the application's distributors on a specific server.

Parameters

  • systemName
    A String specifying the name of the distribution server.

Remarks

When you create an application, its distributors are disabled.

Disabling the application's distributor on a server prevents the distributor from formatting and distributing notifications. Distributors on other servers continue to function.

Use the Enable method to enable distributors.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
